Pre-start phase
This meeting was critical as the project involved multiple stakeholders and sites. By agreeing site-specific H&S/RAMS, contractor codes of conduct, notification plans and more, we ensured all stakeholders understood and were happy with the project delivery plan.
Surveys
Adaston’s surveyors were deployed to each of the 9 sites. Following the completion of the surveys, reports were issued within one week to enable the pricing of required works to be completed swiftly.
Awarded remediation — second pre-start meeting
Due to our success with the surveys, Adaston were selected to complete the remediation works. In light of the sudden increased scope, a second pre-start meeting was held to ensure expectations were agreed. Due to our resilience and flexibility, we were able to pivot to this new scope within a matter of days.
Installation phase
Throughout the project, our project team produced weekly update reports for each site, and held weekly meetings to discuss progress, health and safety, KPIs, estimated programme completion and more.
Handover phase
Upon completion of works, we produced a full Operations and Maintenance pack for all works completed, which included details of installed products, reports with before and after photography, and all information required for compliance, giving Hines UK total peace of mind.

Bespoke RAMS were created for buildings with vulnerable and disabled students.
Replacement fire doors were supplied to site within 6 weeks of ordering.
