Adaston was commissioned to install industry-leading Kingsway doors on all patient doors in the Galaxy Ward of Newham Centre for Mental Health, a high-dependency mental health facility. These measures were part of a Trust Patient Safety Improvement Programme with the aim of ensuring all patients receive a high-quality healthcare experience.

As a live hospital with patients on the premises throughout the installation process, there were sector-specific challenges to work with, including enhanced safety measures, specialist training and an increased focus on clear communications with staff and stakeholders.
